⚖️📚 Judge Meche Visits MACA! 📚⚖️ Today, Judge Jason Meche of the 27th Judicial District Court generously volunteered his time to speak with Mrs. Pitre’s and Mrs. Brower’s Social Studies classes. He led an honest and proactive discussion about real-life issues affecting today’s youth, aiming to keep students informed, aware, and on the right path. 🧪🔥🌿 Biology in Action! 🌿🔥🧪 Today, Mr. Preston’s Biology I students conducted a hands-on yeast lab to simulate the production of carbon dioxide gas. They then compared their results to how CO₂ is released during wildfires and even zombie fires in nature! This creative experiment helped students connect real-world environmental events to the biochemical processes they’re studying in class. • Additional $100 discount if 30 or more people RSVP

🧪🔥❄️ Science in Action with Mrs. Wilson’s 8th Graders! ❄️🔥🧪

Mrs. Wilson’s 8th grade students dove into hands-on chemistry today as they designed their own hot and cold packs! This fun experiment helped them explore the differences between endothermic and exothermic reactions and see how energy can be absorbed or released.

Learning is always exciting when you can feel the science happening! 🔬😄

📣 MACA’s JAG students had a great day at Parish Government Day! 🏛️ Students visited the St. Landry Parish Courthouse and heard from Parish President Jesse Bellard, State Rep. Dustin Miller, Judge Gregory Doucet, Judge Charles Cravins, and several staff members who help keep our parish running. They toured multiple departments, enjoyed delicious gumbo 🥣, and—thanks to our awesome bus driver Mr. Bobby Ware—ended the day with Dairy Queen ice cream! 🍦 Huge thank you to our Parish government for making this educational experience possible! 💙🤍 #MACAJAG #ParishGovernmentDay #FutureLeaders
