While inside any school facility or on school buses all students are required to wear face coverings and it is part of the school uniform/dress code (see School Board policy/student handbook/employee handbook). The failure/refusal of students to wear such face coverings shall result in their immediate separation from others and notification to the parent/guardian. Thereafter, the incident shall be treated like all other violations of School Board policy and/or the student dress/grooming code. Masks/coverings must not: contain wording, emblems, and/or insignias that promote profanity, obscenity, drug/alcohol/tobacco use, gang, or hate-related slogans, political messages, religious messages, or symbols of any type. The face coverings must be of a solid color or may contain the following print: school spirit colors or school emblems.
