There will be an early dismissal on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, to accommodate professional development for our staff. On this day, schools will operate on an early dismissal schedule. Please note that dismissal times may vary by school. Each school will communicate its specific early dismissal time directly to families. *Ecole will not be dismissing early. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to enhance the educational experience for our students. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reach out to your childâs school.


The application for the JumpStart Afterhours program is now open to St. Landry public high school students. Students will only be allowed to participate in one session for the after-school program. Students will earn up to $1,000.00 for all programs listed and a Carnegie credit. Some may earn more depending on the program.
The application will close on September 26, 2025. Students will be notified if their application was received, and will receive notification of acceptance within three weeks of the close of the application.
Programs are contingent on enrollment. Students MUST have reliable transportation (unless a class is virtual) and must commit to the 138 hours.
Orientation and further instructions will be forwarded to students at their school email addresses. Please reach out to tellender@slpsb.org for more information or questions.
